Website done for the 2013 class of Graphic Communication Design. I worked within a small group to handle the complete development of the site.
My senior capstone project. A classmate and I did a tandem documentory/website project to help attract college age kids to volunteer in the Appalachia region. I was responsible for the entire process from wireframes, to designs, to development.
Exercise turning complex PSDs into functioning sites using HTML and CSS. I experimented with the Unsemantic grid system here. Practice makes perfect.
As my first experience with a content management system, I designed and created a custom WordPress theme for a friend of mine. Starting from a completely blank slate allowed me to style every piece of the site while learning a great deal about WordPress.
Another exercise mastering basic styling and positioning elements.
Prototype Site for an early version of the GRCD 2013 website. My group designed and then quickly developed a working prototype to present to the entire class.
